Optimum Coastal Slopes Exposed to Waves: Experimental and Numerical Study

In this research, experimental and numerical studies of water waves in a wave tank are analyzed how to find the optimum beach slope for simulation is also investigated. First, with aid (flap type), different amplitudes created laboratory, data generated measured by probes. Then, simulations performed Ansys Fluent industrial software. The VOF method used model two-phase flow. results compared examined. Moreover, effects on obtain best slope. show that simulation, using appropriate slope, can properly low CPU time. Additionally, 1:5 considered dampen energy prevent their reflection.
